Heartland Farm

Today we headed off to visit Heartland Farm in Maryland. Izzy was excited, and sang "old mcdonald had a farm" in the backseat on the way to prepare for the adventure, lol. They had apple picking, animals to pet, and a little shop with fresh farm picked veggies, pumpkins, and goodies.

Bodie was happy to ride along with graham during the trip. The goats were a favorite of iz's and she pointed out the boy and girl goats, and said, "they are a family"!

This is the one and only apple that iz picked, lol, at least i got a picture! After one apple she was ready to get back to the goats and chickens.

I attempted my first apple pie, turned out okay. I should've called grandma Ayres before I made it to get her help, instead of after! =)Also made some green beans that we got at the farm, along with fresh veggies for our pasta sauce. yummy!
