Bodie's 2nd Birthday!

Our little boy is 2!

The night before bobo's birthday I decorated a bit of the house and made an arrow trail for him to follow to some presents and balloons. Here are a couple of pictures of the decorations.

And a video right after bobo woke up to see his decorations. (sorry it's dark, phone video)

We spent the morning at home, while izzy was at preschool, 

and bodie enjoyed opening his presents and playing with his new toys .

We took a trip to the park before picking up izzy from preschool.

It was cold and windy, but we still enjoyed the time meeting up with friends Lincoln (bodes says -
"oincon") and baby paul!

Bodes you are talking up a storm now! You put sentences together  (give it back izzy, now/ i can't/where ball go mom/ more ice ceam please/ mom i wake up)and we love hearing your little thoughts and ideas. You are funny. You say daddy's name like he did as a little toddler- gam. too cute.

Bodes started crawling out of his crib a few days before his birthday, so we began the transition to a big boy bed. on his birthday tubby gave him the gift of snuggling with him for naptime. 

i love this pictures. sleeping bodes, so peaceful.

 Izzy was a little bummed on bodie's birthday so we had some fun together while bo slept, and she helped frost and decorate the cake.

Happy Birthday my bo man!

At your dr. visit the following day, you measured 33 lbs and were off the charts tall!

You were so good and the nurses just adored you (of course) as you followed directions and waved hi and bye, and flashed that bodie smile. You didn't even cry when you had 2 shots- such a brave little one. I love our time together, and love your cuddles, and "big big hugs" too.

You love to be around other kids, go for bike rides, and play at the park. You are tuff, and rarely complain about cold, heat, etc. You love to play with bugs and ants and ride your bikes.

You have a fire to you too when you fight with your sister iz. I really hope you end up friends.

You can pee and poop on the potty, but still wear diapers. 

Your favorite toys are blocks, and you say, "mom, i building!" while you are playing

You have all your teeth now!

It seems like you grew up so much practically overnight around your birthday. You are such a sweet and loving little guy and so much fun to be around.
