The first day we headed to 2 toots restaurant in Wheaton (suburb of Chicago where we stayed at our friends parents house) for lunch. Little trains brought our lunch - the kids had a blast.
Saturday we headed into the city and rode the "L".
Visited the bean again.
Then the kids had a blast in the water area at millennium park.
We headed back to a yummy Mexican restaurant for lunch and then back to Wheaton for the night. Our friends parents house had a playhouse, pool, sandbox, hammock, and swing in the backyard so the kids enjoyed hours playing outside.
We had a great weekend and were exhausted when we returned home. The sign of a fun weekend I suppose ;-).
