iz loves to look at books and i think she is already trying to turn the pages. Our friends Molly and Chris gave her this new book "Old Bear"-it's a great book and the illustrations are so pretty. She loved it right away.

iz has recently taken an interest in the cats! she follows them and tries to pet them, but really pulls their hair- poor kitties! this picture captures it all.

one day iz was playing on a blanket and started fussing, until she found herself in the mirror. It was hilarious! She would put her head down (faceplant style) into the blanket and fuss, and then look up, see herself, and smile. lol!

Iz has been chewing on her hands all the time these days...maybe she's teething?!

iz got bundled up in her snowsuit thing this week because it's been so cold here- so of course had to take some pics. In the second one she looks a little peeved that I put it on her!

Rice cereal!

iz tried some rice cereal a few weeks ago. Unfortunately it didn't sit too well with her tummy so we're going to hold off on more for awhile- but these pics are pretty cute anyway.

i found my feet

A couple weeks ago Izzy found her feet in the bathtub! It was so cute. Our friend who has been working with us and izzy says it's a good thing, especially for babies with reflux who are more extended at the beginning because of the pain. Yeah izzy! these pictures show all her rolly polly rolls too. =)

Thans for visiting Eli!

My great friend Eli came to visit from Colorado an we ha so much fun. We went to the National Museum of Women in the Arts, went down to Old Town Alexanria and went out to a great Mexican Restaurant in DC. I can't believe these are the only pictures from the weekend? I also ran the Marine Corps 10K last weekend and finished-yeah! Thanks Eli for coming. an cooking for us! It was so amazing having you here. I miss you!
