Sibling non- rivalry

If you would ask me what the hardest part of having two kids has been for me I would tell you- the sibling rivalry! Fighting... Scratching... Screaming... at times seemingly non- stop dislike for each other. It is often heartbreaking to watch the two littles you love the most in the world struggle so hard to get along.

So with that said, at 4 years old and 2 1/2 I'm so excited to see more and more times where
Iz and bodes have played together and gotten along well. I think maturing and ability to communicate has helped, but they are both strong personalities! I'm preparing myself that they may have conflict for some time, but boy am I'm soaking in the times they play together- and especially when it's just the 2 of them.

Building a blanket "nest" together and reading stories on a rainy day.

2 little ballerinas.

Of course they both love making s'mores. ;)

Fav at the children's museum- music rocket ship.
(note right after this pic they fought over taking turns in the front seat, lol. Reality!)

Izzy set up a spot for them to "bask in the sun" with books, umbrellas, hats and milk.

Hot cocoa morning! Hooray for cooler weather!!

Park snacks, playground mornings- one of our favs.

We found this cat at the playground that looks like tubbs. The kids wanted to take a pic. Bodie is just about to jump over the cat in the pic, lol. Izzy named the cat lily tubbu bubbu and showed our cat tubbs this picture when we got home. ;)

We have really been enjoying the kids doing well together and the cooler weather. Family bike rides and picnics have been some of our recent happening. And lots of play in the backyard! Enjoying the little things in life that have nothing to do with stuff, accomplishments, or stress. Loving these times- especially when the answer to my sibling rivalry question "can't we all get along?!?!" is yes!!

Dane county fair

We went to the county fair a few weekends ago and had a really good time!

The kids really enjoyed looking at all the animals, attractions, and goings on at the fair.

My 3 loves at the fair. ;)

Bodie and izzy both loved sitting in the tractors at the fair.

Izzy in the cow barn. Cows are so big close up!!

Bo giving a pet.

We had a hot dog, ice cream and cotton candy ;). Gotta love fair food! Definitely brought back so many memories of my days working at the fair!

Bo wasn't sure about the cotton candy situation.

By far the kids favorite part was the rides. They had a whole kid ride section with rides they could go on without needing us along. They had a great time-here are a few pics from the rides.
