Apple picking and Izzy starts ballet

A few pictures from our afternoon apple picking (in the heat!) and izzy right before her first ballet class. She's already decided next she wants to play soccer and baseball.
Enjoying watching them experience new things, and making more memories!

First day of school 2013!

We've had some cool mornings and with the start of school if feels like fall is really here!
A few pictures from izzy and bodie's first days of school this year.
Izzy started counting down the days on the calendar a few weeks prior to school starting. She was super excited to start kindergarten! She asked the first day, "do I get to go back to school tomorrow too?"

Iz has Mr. Martin for Kindergarten, and her best friend Juna is in her class. She's excited!

Izzy's first day!

have so much fun iz, love you!

Bodie was super excited to start his preschool class at the same school where Izzy goes. He walked into school and looked back and said "Don't worry mom, I'll be fine!"

I was emotional the first few days for the both of them. It's hard letting go of your babies, and watching them have more and more experiences without you is challenging. I feel happy and excited for them, but sad at times for me and thinking about how fast they grow up.
They both love school though (so far), which helps!

Bodie is going into Ms. Andrea's class this year. Izzy was in the same class 2 years ago.
Bodie's friend Brynn will be in his class too.
Bobo's first day

love you buddy

pre-K here I come!

summer lounging

We moved into our new house at the beginning of August and have been having some nice relaxing days just hanging out around our home and neighborhood.  A few random pics as we soaked up the last summer days together before school started. I started enjoying the days home with the kids so much more when I started working part time, and especially when I realized school was coming up so soon. It's amazing how that happens. Working on enjoying and appreciating each day, enjoying the little things and feeling blessed!

Rainy morning!
And a few pics from Mel, chris, and oli's visit at the beginning of the month. Watching the kids together is priceless. Love when Oli cracks up at izzy and bodie- it is just too cute.
