Support Women in Leadership

Since being in DC, I suppose it's only fitting that one involves themselves in politics in some way. I have enjoyed becoming more knowledgeable about the upcoming election and candidates. A couple of friends, Vicki and Marc, that live in Santa Cruz with my sister (lucky ducks!) started a small side business selling t-shirts for the Hillary Clinton campaign. Vickie went to Wellesley (also where Hillary went) and is a huge Hillary fan. Anyway, they have some super cute t-shirts that Chris (my sister's b/friend) helped them design. Check em out! http://www.wellesleyinthewhitehouse.com/
Hey Vick and Marc... do have any pregnancy sizes?

The big 28!

Here is the sole picture from my birthday this year. The big 2..8! We went out to dinner in downtown D.C., but unfortunately I had a sour stomach from something I ate at lunch....so I watched graham gobble up his dinner and took a few bites of mine. On the way to the metro we gave my leftovers to a hungry man on the street...it may have still been hot for him?! Luckily by the time we got home my tummy was up to par and I enjoyed a generous piece of ice cream birthday cake...thanks to my mom and sis...thanks gals!! Yumm-o! The years seem to go faster and faster. oops I just realized I didn't make a wish before the cake! Unfortunately I guess I'll have to have another piece today and correct the mistake. Here's to a fabulous year!

Christmas 2007

I just got around to looking at my pictures from Christmas in Oregon, and found I took maybe 8 pictures the whole time I was there! And trying to get a decent picture of graham and I..forget it! Umm graham, what's so hard about just smiling like a normal person anyway? Hey....who's camera was I taking pictures with the whole time? Hmmm...well hopefully I'll get them and can post some better ones. We had a fabulous time in Oregon visiting our families. We had our Christmas morning cinnamon rolls and my sister the chef cooked us up a fabulous Christmas dinner! Darn, wish we lived closer so we could have dinner together more often! One of my favorite things is putting on all our ornaments from over the years. We joked that we were probably the only family decorating the Christmas tress on Christmas day! It was exciting and unexpected when dad yelled out during opening gifts, "hey it's snowing!" It snowed just a few white flakes....but none-the-less a White Christmas! What more could you ask for?
