2 months old!

I can't believe how fast time flies! Izzy is 2 months old! She is already 13lbs- which is the 95th percentile for age! We have been working with the doctor's to find the right reflux medicine for her- which has been a challenging time...but we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel and think she is starting to feel a little better-finally! We are still keeping our fingers crossed.

She is so cute these days- smiling and even starting to laugh- I swear! Everyone is saying she looks like me...I tell her everyday when I massage her little rolls--big is beautiful izzy! We got a jog stroller yesterday and she liked going out with me today. Man I am so out of shape...I'm going to run (I mean jog!) a 10K in oct. so I need to start jogging again-today was the perfect day- cool and even raining a bit- which I loved and I think she did too--reminded us of home!

I love these pics of Graham and izzy. She is so alert these days and will just look at Graham with her big eyes and watch him make funny faces to her- and make funny faces back. She also loves when he "flies" her up in the air and she makes the cutest face that makes us crack up.

the baby whisperer

My friend Maura was in town for the weekend and we had a blast together. She is truly the baby whisperer and Izzy was like a different baby while she was here- sleeping well and calm and peaceful! Of course the minute she walked away to leave Izzy started crying again!- ha! Well thanks Maura for coming to visit, cooking up delicious food, cleaning up, and just hanging out. We miss you already and wish we lived closer!!

Izzy is 6 weeks old! She is so cute and is smiling and making her adorable baby noises "talking" to us all the time. She is getting so big and working on making more fat roles all over her little body! She is sleeping pretty good at night (knock on wood!) but having a hard time sleeping during the day for more than 20min. at a time- so we are headed back to the pediatrician to discuss if it may be reflux related, or other things we could try, as this leads to tired izzy and tired mommy! Just wanted to share these 2 pics of her favorite places to sleep- in no particulat order . =)
